Sikkim is a state in northeastern India. It borders Tibet in the north and northeast, Bhutan in the east, Nepal in the west, and West Bengal in the south. Sikkim is also located close to India’s Siliguri Corridor near Bangladesh.
The management and the control of the Institution rests entirely on the Governing Body known as the Board of Governors of “Institute of Hotel Management, Sikkim Society” under Sikkim Government Autonomous Body.
The syllabus has been designed by the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Noida, New Delhi. All the students are required to be equipped with the latest trend in hospitality and service industry.
The Bachelor of Science Programmes in Hospitality and Hotel Administration is offered by the National Council for Hotel Management and the Indira Gandhi National Open University.
Students are required to maintain strict discipline in the campus. Smoking is prohibited. Consumption of alcohol or drugs during the course of study in the campus is strictly prohibited.
